The Conway Quilt Guild is always looking for new members. If you are interested in joining, simply show up for a meeting and see what you think.

Bring:
- Bagged Lunch
- Sewing Machine, notions and your current project for Free Sew afterwards.
- Items for Show and Tell
Membership
The Conway Quilt Guild has a yearly membership fee of $10, as well as
a yearly $15 fee that goes to Horry County Parks & Recreation.
History
The Conway Quilt Guild was formed in January 2013, as a part of the Seniors Program with Horry County Parks & Recreation, which was led by the late Kim Parker.
We started with only 9 members, 5 with limited sewing experience.
We currently have over 70 members. Our guild is community serving, helping with several charitable endeavors.
We meet once a month for a business meeting and also hold 2 additional sessions called Free Sews, each month.
At a Free Sew, members work on whatever project they want...or we use the time to cut and make kits for Quilts, animal beds and more!
Once a quarter we have a teaching session for all members to learn something new, make a small project to take home, or just a refresher course.
These sessions are known as "University 101"! Our members take great pride in helping our community and we hope to continue this for many years to come.
