Pillow class - corded pillows, folded bck, zipper pillows, pillow shams

  • Regular Sewing equipment
  • 2 pieces of fabric 1yd each
  • 18" or larger zipper
  • zipper foot
  • cording will be provided
  • fabric to cover cording
  • 18" pillow or stuffing you can use an already covered pillow

BOM - Ohio Star & Quilting 101

  • Sewing Machine
  • Regular Sewing equipment
  • We will use either QOV scraps or other guild scraps

QAYG Quilt Assembly

  • Make ahead of time 9 blocks like you made your placemats 12 1/2 unfinished
  • 2" strips for sashing
  • 3 - 4" strips for boarder
  • Machine & regular sewing supplies
  • Bias maker to fit 2" fabric or you can iron the folds in fabric

    • If you were not in the QAYG placemat class, let me know ASAP and we will have an abbreviated class for you on 6/16 after meeting

    • Crystals with glue backing if you want to bling out your jacket

    BOM Quilting 101 - Binding!!!

    • Regular Sewing supplies
    • 3 - 20 x 15 quilt sandwich to attach binding to
    • 70" of 2 1/2 strips for each sandwich
    • Small 6" ruler

    • You will be provided with three different pieced boarder patterns to choose from

    Purse Class

    See patterns & choose which one you want to make at the meeting on 10/20. The patterns will tell you how much vinyl or cork you need to purchase. Need standard sewing and cutting supplies along with jean or leather needles, you will need clips to hold vinyl together to sew as you can not use pins. Zippers according to pattern and hardware for bag...Dee will bring some for the group if it is what you want if not you will need to purchase before the lessons begin. You will need marking pens
